Brew your own beer – Great team building or private event!

With a 500-year tradition of beer brewing, a microbrewery in the center of Prague knows how to make exceptional beer. Now, you too can be part of this exciting beer brewing process by brewing your own beer in the historic rooms of this well-known restaurant.  The technology used to make your own beer is first-rate and not commonly found in other breweries, such as two-vessel gravity brewing. You will also be using a historical copper plate cooler with a hand pump. A glass fermentation vessel helps you keep track of the fermentation process.

The brewing experience takes 9 hours. Take 50 liters of beer home!

Brewing lasts 9 hours and includes the whole process from crushing through mashing to hopping followed by subsequent cooling of the wort and fermentation. It is possible to brew 50 liters of beer for each batch. You have the chance to experience the brewing of beer is a popular microbrewery in Prague that traces its roots back to the 15th century. In the 1950s it was nationalized, and the building remained decrepit even in 1989. When the brewery was returned to private ownership, it was modernized and extended.  Today it is the smallest restaurant brewery in the country with maximum volume production of 300 hl. The microbrewery features the light lager brewed on the premises and containing 6.1 percent alcohol, the semi-dark with 5.2 percent alcohol, and the strongest lager in the world with 12.6 percent alcohol, brewed once a month.
